  I was a patient for about 5 years. I view modern medicine as only half of the whole picture when it comes to human health, and I am a fairly healthy person, so I didn't necessarily put a strong value on my primary doctor. If you are someone who does have a strong dependency on your primary doctor then I would not recommend this office. At times, it has taken me over a half hour to get in touch with someone. The staff displays a minimal amount of service/care towards patients. I was not able to make my last appointment due to the blizzard that we had last month and shortly after I received a letter asking me to find a new practice within 30 days. Granted, I had had a previous "no-show" in the last year, I do not think that given the blizzard circumstances that this missed appointment should have reflected negatively. They also sighted several "cancellations" as having a negative impact however it was never communicated to me that canceling with more than 24hrs notice was a problem. Had I known I would have declined the several appointments that were asked to be scheduled that I did not feel were necessary. Those that which, quite honestly, came off more like "office visit grabs." Ex. After having routine blood work done being asked to come in just to be told that everything looks great. Literally, that was the conversation and the doctor was out within seconds. Also, after requesting a lower dosage of medication that I've previously been on and done fine with, being asked to come in instead of just prescribing the lower dosage. Increased dosage makes sense for an office visit, but I do not see that value when lowering when I've been on this dosage before, and recently. At best, I had a disconnected experience, and felt more like a member of a herd of cattle rather than a patient and felt pressure to "play the medical game" in order to receive the small level of care that I required. I've recently visited a new office and had an completely different experience where over 20 minutes were taken to have an in depth discussion about my medical history and had an engaging conversation about how to stay focused on my health going forward. Ultimately, all though the circumstances surrounding my change in primary doctors did annoy me, I am very glad that it transpired.

  Since this office became part of Primary Care of WNY, it has been a truly miserable experience. They are severely understaffed and I will be finding a new doctor.
